Ben paints predominantly with oil on canvas, and his paintings reflect the inspiration of the area of the Kent Estuary where he lives and works. Having studied Fine Art at Lancaster University, Ben came to settle into this tranquil area of the English Lake District after a time spent working with students in and around London. His paintings seek to capture something of the beauty of the Kent Estuary landscape, as well as the changing effects of light and weather.
